In Pics, 300th Anniversary Of Meissen Porcelain

Meissen is celebrating its 300th anniversary. Meissen porcelain is the first European hard-paste porcelain that was developed from 1708. Meissen porcelain is still produced by hand, as the locals call it “white gold” because of its high cost.

Today, more than half of production goes abroad, especially popular among collectors of German porcelain from Japan and Taiwan.

Obscene interiors Ever noticed the backgrounds in porn

A few years ago, South African artist Von Brandis, published an amusing photo set on Flickr called “Obscene Interiors”. Von Brandis collected vintage porn pictures he found on the Internet and removed the actors from these, allowing people to focus on the interior design in the background instead. The various position are discernible from the outlines of the white silhouettes but the details are missing.

Later it came to light that this concept of removing the figures from porn began with a feature similarly named "Obscene Interiors" by another photographer Justin Jorgensen. His collection later became a book, "Obscene Interiors: Hardcore Amateur Decor" which can be found on Amazon.

Following the disclosure by Justin, the Flickr set by Von Brandis had to be taken down. The images I present here has been collected from various sources.
